Key 1928 Peace Dollar, MS65
1928 $1 MS65 PCGS. CAC. The classic key-date issue of the Peace dollar series, the 1928 had a far lower mintage than any other issue. Just 360,649 coins were minted. The next lowest mintage in the series was 1927 with 848,000 coins produced. This Gem is nicely detailed with satiny silver surfaces and subliminal champagne toning. PCGS has only certified 11 finer examples (8/10).From The Helen Gates Kirk Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
