Description
1928-S $1 MS64 NGC. Although common in circulated grades, the 1928-S is one of the scarcest Peace dollars in Mint State. NGC reports only 39 pieces finer (7/08), and a glance at the Guide Book shows just how valuable this piece would be only one numerical grade higher. Patches of hazel toning accent the mostly brilliant surfaces. A sharply struck piece with sparkling cartwheel luster. (Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257W, PCGS# 7374, GSID# 7909)
