Description

1928-S $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-3. A Top 50 Variety. The low mintmark, doubled motto VAM. Collectors neglected the 1928-S dollar at first, focusing on its P-mint counterpart. Today, in Choice and better grades, the branch mint pieces command higher prices. This well-defined piece exhibits pale gray patina over both sides. Minimally marked with strong luster beneath. Housed in a green label holder.
