Description
Popular Gem 1928-S Dollar
Extremely Rare Any Finer
1928-S $1 MS65 PCGS. CAC. The 1928-S is a more famous
condition rarity than its low-mintage Philadelphia counterpart and
nominal key date. While the 1928-S is available for a price in
grades up to MS64, it is a borderline condition rarity in Gem and
extremely rare any better. This MS65 example, which is in a green
label holder and bears a CAC sticker, has pale silver-white
surfaces that showcase generous frosty luster. A handful of minor
abrasions and a couple of reed marks in the fields are the only
significant barriers to an even finer designation. Population: 46
in 65, 1 finer (3/11).From The Paul Taylor Collection.(Registry values: N4719)
