Description
Highly Lustrous MS66 1934 Peace Dollar
1934 $1 MS66 PCGS. While plentiful in the lower conditions of Uncirculated, the 1934 is seldom located in MS66 and finer grades. Only 118 pieces have been so graded by PCGS, with three finer (8/06). This is a splendid, high grade example that is fully struck on each side--and yes, that includes both the central hair curls as well as the rightmost feathers on the eagle's wing. The mint luster on this piece is outstanding, being bright and softly frosted with no trace of toning. Additionally, there are no obvious abrasions on either side of this outstanding, high grade dollar.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257X, PCGS# 7375, Greysheet# 7897)
