Doubled Die Obverse, VAM-3
1934-D $1 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. VAM-3. A Top 50 Variety.
Liberty's profile and GOD WE are clearly die doubled. The Medium D
mintmark distinguishes VAM-3 from VAM-4, which has a Small D. Of
course, any MS66+ 1934-D dollar is desirable, since the typical
certified example of the low mintage issue grades only MS63.
