Description
1934-S Peace Dollar, MS64
VAM-3, Doubled Tiara
Sole CAC for the Grade
1934-S $1 Doubled Tiara, VAM-3, MS64 PCGS. CAC. A Top 50
Variety. Relative to the rest of the Peace dollar series, the
1934-S is the rarest Peace dollar in grades MS60 through MS64
overall and it is considerably rarer still with CAC endorsement,
especially when struck from the distinctive VAM-3 Doubled Tiara die
pair. The rays in Liberty's tiara are doubled and tripled, easily
visible on their right sides near B and E of LIBERTY. This is a
brilliant near-Gem 1934-S, with flashy silver luster and Choice
surfaces showing only a few tiny ticks on and near the neck
truncation. PCGS Population: 5 in 64, 7 finer; CAC: 1 in 64, 0
