Description

Exceptional MS62 1934-S Dollar

1934-S $1 MS62 NGC. The 1934-S is the key date of the series in grades between AU50 and MS64. Apparently, most of the mintage entered West Coast circulation, since during the Great Depression there was little interest in a silver dollar with a mintage above 1 million pieces. This lustrous example has light honey-gold toning, an unmarked appearance, and a pleasing strike. The eye appeal exceeds the MS62 level, and bidder interest is certain to be substantial.(Registry values: N1793)
