Description
Lustrous Key Date 1934-S Peace Dollar, MS62
1934-S $1 MS62 PCGS. This satiny example is virtually untoned and displays ebullient luster. A few moderate bagmarks are observed on each side of the coin, keeping it from a higher grade. The 1934-S is the key date to the Peace dollar series in Mint State, but was not identified as such for several decades; until it finally became obvious to coin dealers and collectors that bags of Mint State examples were not being held in storage by the government. From The Mario Eller Collection, Part Three.(Registry values: N1793)
