Series Key 1934-S Peace Dollar, MS63
1934-S $1 MS63 PCGS. The 1934-S is the key to the Peace dollar series in Mint State. The scarcity of the issue was not recognized at its time of issue, and few pieces have turned up in hoards over the years. Examples are scarce above the MS63 level. The present coin is a desirable specimen, with fewer than average handling marks for the grade.
