Description

1934-S Peace Dollar, MS64
Frosty and Lightly Toned

1934-S $1 MS64 PCGS. The 1934-S Peace dollar is the most elusive of the series in Mint State. Just over 1 million coins were minted, but no dollars had been struck since 1928 and most San Francisco coins were circulated. This Choice example exhibits richly frosted devices on mostly brilliant surfaces that are accented with subtle splashes of lilac, champagne-gold and ice-blue. A few tiny nicks on the eagle's lower features account for the grade, but the overall eye appeal is outstanding.(Registry values: N2998)
