1934-S Dollar, MS66
Key to the Peace Dollar Series
1934-S $1 MS66 PCGS. Two important factors must be taken
into account when considering the rarity of the 1934-S. With a
mintage of just over 1 million coins, the issue claims one of the
lower mintages in the Peace dollar series. Additionally, most coins
were released into circulation. As a result, Uncirculated examples
are scarce through Gem condition, and Premium Gems are decidedly
rare. In fact, PCGS and NGC have both failed to certify any finer
examples (8/14). This blazing, Registry-quality representative
offers largely brilliant surfaces and coruscating luster. As is
frequently encounter with this issue, the strike is sharp
throughout, and a glass reveals no distracting
