Description
1935 Peace Dollar, MS66
Extremely Rare Any Finer
1935 $1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. The 1935, from a mintage of nearly
1.6 million pieces, is a fairly common date in the Peace dollar
series through the Gem grade level. The certified population drops
at the Premium Gem grade, which can be acquired with patience and
searching. Higher-grade pieces are rarely seen. Satiny luster
covers each side, and the design elements are relatively
well-struck for the issue. A few light reverse marks do not detract
from the overall pleasing eye appeal. The Peace dollar was
discontinued after 1935, making this issue an important one for
type collectors. PCGS has graded none finer, and NGC five higher
(1/14).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2582, PCGS# 7378, Greysheet# 7898)
