1935-S Peace Dollar, MS66
Final Year of Issue
1935-S $1 MS66 NGC. Three Ray variety. Hints of russet-brown
adorn otherwise untoned surfaces. Cartwheel luster is deep and
boisterous. Slight weakness can be found on the uppermost hair
curls, where the detail on the eagle is nearly complete. This
represented the final year of standard silver dollar issuance, and
few San Francisco examples circulated. Census: 111 in 66 (16 in
66+, 2 in 66★ ), 5 finer (12/25).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2583, PCGS# 7379, Greysheet# 7912)
