Description
1935-S Dollar, MS66
Prohibitive in Higher Grades
1935-S $1 MS66 PCGS Gold Shield. Four Rays below ONE. This
1935-S dollar from a mintage approaching 2 million coins ranks
among the highest collectible examples for the issue. Anything
finer than this Premium Gem is prohibitively rare. Frosted surfaces
appear even cleaner than the grade suggests, with just a single set
of reeding marks in the upper-left reverse field. Mostly brilliant
with faint wisps of dusky gold color and good strike detail. PCGS
reports three finer submissions (12/18).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2583, PCGS# 7379, Greysheet# 7912)
