Description

Ferdinand VI cob 8 Escudos 1750R Lima, KM47, nice AU, well-centered strike on the obverse with extremely bold details for the mint and assayer and 7 and 0 of the date. The 5 is somewhat muddled, but the 1750 is the only date struck with a second date on the reverse below the cross, and there we find a nice three digit 750 date. The reverse also features a full cross and L mintmark and a portion of the R assayer.
