Spanish Philippines. Isabella II Specimen 50 Centavos 1868, KM-147 for type, a wonderful coin having mirrored surfaces and a deep strike showing off its exquisite design. "L.M." signature at the base of the queen's bust. Rims are high. Edge is plain, offset by raised bars dividing a legend in raised letters reading: " [2 fleur de lis] LEY. [bar] PATRIA. [bar] REY. [fleur de lis]". A choice piece with only minor handling marks. Light gold toning. Very rare and desirable.
