USA Administration 7-Piece Certified Set 1908,1) 1/2 Centavo - PR65 Red NGC, KM162
2) Centavo - PR66 Red NGC, KM163

5) 20 Centavos - PR65 NGC, KM166
6) 50 Centavos - PR65 NGC, KM167
7) Peso - PR65 NGC, KM168
Philadelphia mint, KM-PS5 (as a set). As was the case with the 1905 and 1906 proof sets, many of the original 500 sets which were produced for 1908 were later dumped into Manila Bay during World War II, making this a very important and difficult set to encounter in such a pleasing gem grade across the board. The copper issues exhibit a reddish-orange brilliance, while the 5 and 10 Centavos each display sublimely argent surfaces mixed with an enchanting hue of light goldenrod. The final three examples display varying degrees of dappled iridescence, and complete this amazingly rare set.
