Spanish Colony. Isabel II Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (1834-1837) Fine 15 PCGS, Manila mint, KM127, Basso-56. (Type VI) Crowned Y.II Countermark (VF Details) on a Mexico Augustin I Iturbide 8 Reales 1832 Mo-JM. An intriguing Countermarked type struck over a bevy of different, mainly Latin American, host coinage. Mexican Iturbide 8 Reales are among the more coveted undertypes and this is a particularly pleasing example showing excellent patina.Ex. Ray Czahor Collection
