Beautiful Early Trial 50 Marks

Republic bronze Specimen 50 Marks 1923 SP64 Red and Brown PCGS, Warsaw mint, KM-Pn240, Parchimowicz-P117a. Mintage: 120. Seldom-encountered at auctions, this interesting piece is enveloped in a pleasing chestnut and auburn that doesn't take away from the residual gleam showcased when turned slightly in the hand. One of the first trial coins of the Second Republic of Poland. These first trial coins, in denominations of 50 and 100 marks, were not put into circulation due to the rushing inflation of the mark and the introduction of the zloty. The best preservation amongst all examples certified at PCGS.

Metal: Bronze
Diameter: 20mm
