1892 10C PR66 Deep Cameo PCGS. CAC. Despite an article in
The Numismatist discussing the new Barber coinage that
claimed "...it is the best that could be done -- after all they are
not gotten up for the collector, but for general barter..." the
Barber series remains popular with today's collectors -- especially
in high-grade proof format. This Premium Gem Deep Cameo example is
brilliant and sharply struck with watery mirrors surrounding
frost-white motifs. Aside from a few Mint-made lint marks, the
surfaces are essentially pristine and eye appeal is exceptional.
