Description

1900 10C PR66 Cameo PCGS. While high grade examples of this issue are not overly scarce compared to other proof issues of the period, examples exhibiting cameo contrast are in the distinct minority. Green-gold, amber, and violet-blue colors blanket each side of this intricately struck Premium Gem. A few tiny strike-throughs are noted in the right obverse field, but are well-hidden by the rich patina. The devices are thickly frosted, with the contrast only reduced where the vibrant colors are strongest. Population: 22 in 66 (2 in 66+) Cameo, 11 finer (3/15).(Registry values: N2998)
