Attractively Original 1892 Barber Half
1892 50C PR 65 PCGS. The first year 1892 is an obviously important issue for type purposes. Neither the business strikes (935,245 pieces produced) nor the proofs (1,245 pieces produced) of this issue can be considered rare in an absolute sense, but high grade examples rarely remain on the market for long before attracting the attention of buyers. Well mirrored beneath original olive-copper toning, the surfaces display multicolored undertones at most angles. A boldly defined Gem with no hairlines to report.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24NU, PCGS# 6539, GSID# 6627)
