Description
1893 Barber Half, PR66 Deep Cameo
Starkly Contrasted Condition Rarity
1893 50C PR66 Deep Cameo PCGS. Beautiful brilliant, deeply
mirrored fields provide stark cameo contrast against softly frosted
devices on this Premium Gem proof. The right corner of the reverse
shield exhibits predictable strike softness, but the eagle's
talons, all of the obverse stars, and Liberty's hair details are
well brought up. Eye appeal is outstanding. The 1893 proof is
rarely seen this fine in the Deep Cameo category. Population: 7 in
66 Deep Cameo, 4 finer (5/21).(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24NV, PCGS# 96540, GSID# 6632)
