Description

1893 Half Dollar, Richly Toned PR67

1893 50C PR67 NGC. CAC. The central obverse is untoned silver-white and well-contrasted, complementing accents of charcoal-gray and pale aqua at the rims. The reverse displays equal contrast but more extensive color, with pastel saffron, jade, pink, and aqua competing for territory. Minor strike weakness appears on the upper-right shield corner, but a loupe reveals essentially no sign of contact and excellent preservation and eye appeal. Census: 18 in 67, 2 finer (8/13).
