Description

1893 Half Dollar, Attractively Toned PR67

1893 50C PR67 NGC. The Barber half dollar saw 792 proofs struck in 1893. The population data indicate that surviving specimens are mostly in the PR62 to PR65 range. An attractive melange of cobalt-blue, orange-gold, violet, lavender, and yellow-gold toning adorns this Superb Gem. With the exception of the typically seen softness in the upper-right shield corner the design features are sharply struck. The surfaces of this coin have been very well cared for.
