Conditionally Rare 1893 Barber Half PR67
1893 50C PR67 PCGS. Fully struck with dramatic steel-green and dusky-rose toning across both sides. All of the right side obverse stars are recut. A faint mark in the right obverse field, near Liberty's nose, appears to be a break in the toning rather than a scrape or a contact mark. This second-year proof issue had a mintage of 792 pieces, of which approximately 25% may still survive, according to David Lawrence (1991). Population: 10 in 67, 0 finer (7/07).
