Description

1894 Half Dollar, Lightly Toned PR64+ Cameo

1894 50C PR64+ Cameo PCGS. CAC. The larger the coin, the larger the target for contact marks. This larger format coin has a few small signs of contact with other coins, but a magnifier is required to locate them. This undoubtedly explains both the + and CAC designations. Light reddish-golden toning encircles the rims of both sides with mostly brilliant centers, and the cameo contrast is abundantly evident. Population: 20 in 64 (3 in 64+) Cameo, 33 finer (11/12).
