Premium Gem Proof 1895 Barber Half
1895 50C PR66 NGC. Dusky plum-red toning cedes to olive-gold across the portrait. This flashy and sharply struck proof half dollar appears perfect aside from a pair of minute spots near the I in UNITED. A meager 880 proofs fell from the dies, the same mintage as the costly 1895 Morgan dollar.
