1897 50C PR68 ★ Cameo NGC. Deeply mirrored and exquisitely preserved with contrast that transcends a "mere" Cameo designation. The frost is thick across the silver-white devices. Only a few hints of milky toning in the obverse fields keep this coin from having a fully black-and-white appearance, but this is no obstacle to its amazing eye appeal.
