Description
1900 Barber Half PR63 NGC. The 1900 proof Barber half dollar enjoyed a mintage of 912 pieces, quite large in the context of the series. The issue is easy to locate in PR63 and is a popular turn-of-the-century type coin. This specimen is sharply struck, except for slight softness on the eagle's feathers below the shield. The centers are brilliant with rose colored highlights on the obverse peripheries.From The Boca Collection, Part II.(Registry values: N991)
