Description

1902 Barber Half, PR65 Cameo
Immense Visual Appeal

1902 50C PR65 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The proof 1902 Barber half dollar is not notably elusive in an absolute sense, but Cameo representatives are scarce in all grades. This Gem Cameo displays stark field-motif contrast, with seemingly infinite depth of mirroring in the fields, while tinges of blue, violet, and sun-gold toning surround the peripheries. The strike is bold throughout, and a few faint, wispy hairlines on Liberty's cheek (not from cleaning), appear to be all that preclude an even finer grade. Population: 4 in 65 Cameo, 10 finer (8/14).(Registry values: N2998)
