Luminous 1903 Gem Proof Half Dollar
1903 50C PR65 NGC. A goodly number of the 755 1903 proof half dollars have survived to the present day. Dappled yellow-green and reddish-gold patina runs over the obverse of this luminous Gem while the reverse consists mostly of splashes of reddish-orange. Well struck save for the usual weakness in the upper right shield corner. A few faint hairlines mingling with die polish lines show under magnification.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24P7, PCGS# 6550, GSID# 6660)
