Description

1907 Barber Half, PR67 Cameo
Black-and-White Contrast

1907 50C PR67 Cameo PCGS. This Superb Gem Cameo 1907 Barber half dollar exhibits midnight-black fields contrasting sharply against the well-frosted devices, the surfaces showing no trace of patina on either side. This piece appears well within the Cameo designation and verges on Deep Cameo, and it will require patient searching with a good loupe to find the single small tick on Liberty's olive-leaf headdress. The strike is full on the obverse, although minor softness appears on the usual trouble spot on the reverse, the upper-right shield corner and right claw of the eagle. Population: 3 in 67 Cameo, 0 finer (9/13).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24PB, PCGS# 86554, Greysheet# 6672)
