Description

1907 Half Dollar, Patinated PR67

1907 50C PR67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: E.H.R. Green/Newman. The 1907 shows one of the smaller mintage of the Barber half dollar proof series (575 pieces). Nevertheless, PCGS and NGC have graded more than 400 examples, a goodly number in the Select through Gem range. A medley of reddish-gold, bluish-gray, olive, reddish-tan, and powder-blue graces both sides of this PR67, each of which exhibits sharply struck design elements except for the usually seen softness on the upper-right shield corner. Impeccably preserved surfaces enhance even more the coin's pleasing eye appeal. Population: 7 in 67 (1 in 67+), 1 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N4719)
