Description

1907 Barber Half, PR67+
Vibrantly Colored, CAC

1907 50C PR67+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Young-Dakota. A bold strike yields razor-sharp details throughout this CAC-approved Barber half proof, especially on the eagle's talons and on the upper right section of the shield. These areas plague the majority of the issue. The obverse is diagonally divided from 7:30 to 2:30, with the upper left showing a medley of vibrant colors as the bottom right displays brilliance veiled in transparent champagne-gold. Lavender, emerald, yellow, plum, caramel and cobalt blue define the upper left half of the obverse as well as on the fully patinated reverse. PCGS shows only one finer piece at PR68, and NGC shows only one finer piece at PR68 Cameo (6/25).(Registry values: N4719)
