Collections. The 1908 has one of the lowest proof mintages in the
Barber half dollar series (545 pieces). Magnificent field-motif
contrast shows on both sides of this Premium Gem. Exquisitely
struck, save for the usual minor softness on the upper right shield
corner. Whispers of cobalt-blue and gold-orange make occasional
visits to this impeccably preserved specimen. Population: 6 in 66
