1908 50C PR67 NGC. Regardless of date, proof Barber half dollars in Superb Gem condition are seldom encountered. This 1908 representative is a pleasing example, with gleaming mirrored fields and bold relief elements. Both sides show intermingled shades of violet, blue, and mint-green, with a swath of sung-gold across much of the reverse. Census: 16 in 67, 3 finer (5/15).(Registry values: N4719)
