Description

1908 Half Dollar, PR67
Richly Toned on Both Sides

1908 50C PR67 PCGS. This later date Barber half is not generally available in high grades, undoubtedly because of the low mintage of only 545 proofs. This is a richly toned example that shows deep iridescent coloration on the obverse that is interspersed with bits of brilliance, while the reverse is mostly deep emerald-green with a rose colored accent at the top. A seemingly flawless proof striking. Population: 13 in 67 (3 in 67+), 4 finer (3/24).
