Impressive 1909 Half Dollar, PR65 Cameo
1909 50C PR65 Cameo NGC. This Gem Cameo is one of 650 proof half dollars struck in 1909, a relatively large number of which have been seen by NGC and PCGS. Cameos in the higher grade levels are more of a challenge, however. Pronounced field-motif contrast shows on both sides of this lovely specimen, with dapples of light olive-green scattered about each.
