Flashy Cameo Gem Proof 1909 Half Dollar
1909 50C PR65 Cameo PCGS. The mintage of proof Barber half dollars diminished throughout the first decade of the 20th century until 1909, when a spike in production brought the total up to almost 1,000 coins. In that year, 950 proof half dollars were produced. This example is without a doubt one of the most attractive survivors from that mintage, with brilliant proof surfaces and excellent eye appeal.
