Gem Proof 1911 Half Dollar
Only 543 Pieces Struck
1911 50C PR65 NGC. The obverse of this low-mintage Gem
displays streaky green and lavender patina, while the reverse is
iridescently toned in shades of green and violet. The fields are
brightly mirrored and the devices are frosty. Like many examples of
this issue the strike is sharp in most areas, but the upper-right
corner of the shield lacks complete detail. Census: 35 in 65, 36
