Conditionally Scarce Gem Proof 1911 Barber Half
1911 50C PR65 PCGS. Layers of original olive, gold, rose, and sky-blue patina adorn the surfaces of this lovely Gem proof half dollar. Fully struck and nicely preserved, with a couple of faint slide marks noted on Liberty's cheek and a minor handling mark on the lower bust, just above Barber's initial. A conditionally scarce offering from a low mintage of 543 pieces. Population: 27 in 65, 22 finer (8/07). (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24PF, PCGS# 6558, GSID# 6683)
