Attractive Gem Proof 1912 Barber Half Dollar
1912 50C PR65 PCGS. This attractive Gem proof is from an original mintage of just 700 pieces, and approximately half of that number have been certified by NGC and PCGS combined. Relatively few have been certified as Gems, however. This specimen is sharply struck and well preserved, with a light coating of speckled patina across each side attesting to the originality of the piece. Population: 15 in 65, 21 finer (8/08).
