Description

1914 Half Dollar, PR67
Lowest Proof Mintage of the Series

1914 50C PR67 NGC. CAC. The low proof mintage (only 380 pieces struck) combines with a low circulation strike production to make the 1914 a key Barber half dollar date in both formats. This is a Superb Gem proof example, with flashy mirrors and colorful iridescence throughout the medium-toned surfaces. CAC endorsement recognizes the high-end quality even at the lofty PR67 level. NGC reports only one non-Cameo proof in a numerically finer grade, plus another at PR67+. NGC Census: 13 in 67 (1 in 67+), 1 finer (3/26). CAC: 10 in 67, 0 finer (3/26).(Registry values: N4719)
