    Description

Splendid, Deeply Mirrored PR66 1892 Quarter

1892 25C PR66 NGC. Saved in larger numbers than other, later dates, the 1892 has proved to be a very popular coin with type collectors. The nearly brilliant surfaces show just a hint of golden toning around the margins. Deeply reflective in the fields, the devices display a light layer of mint frost, not enough to warrant a cameo designation but definitely enough to notice and enhance the coin's overall eye appeal. Population: 32 in 66, 37 finer (2/03).

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2427, PCGS# 5678)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
