    Description

    Exceptional White-on-Black 1892 Quarter
    PR67 Cameo

1892 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. Type Two Reverse. The snow-white devices show stark contrast against the deeply mirrored fields. One has to wonder why this spectacular coin did not achieve Ultra Cameo designation by NGC. The untoned surfaces are splendidly preserved, and the obverse is nearly perfect. A tiny planchet flaw, of Mint origin, is located in the field below the second U in UNUM. Census: 18 in 67 Cameo, 4 finer (4/09).

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2427, PCGS# 85678)
