Description
Gem Proof 1892 Quarter
1892 25C PR 65 PCGS. Despite an above average (by proof Barber quarter standards) mintage of 1,245 pieces, the 1892 remains popular among collectors as a first-year type coin. Although not heavily frosted, the devices stand in stark contrast to the unfathomably deep fields. Light toned in golden-champagne colors, both sides readily reveal the care with which this coin was preserved. From the Richard Doyle Collection.
