    Description

Brilliant, Superb Cameo Proof 1893 Barber Quarter

1893 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. Only 792 proofs were produced in 1893, quite a fall from the substantial mintage of 1,245 pieces struck in the previous (and first) year. This is a stunning coin that is brilliant throughout. The devices are heavily frosted and contrast sharply against the unfathomable depth of mirrored reflectivity seen in the fields. Very nearly perfect from a technical standpoint as well as possessing strong eye appeal. One tiny lintmark is noted on Liberty's chin. Census: 11 in 67, 5 finer (3/06).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYMM, PCGS# 85679)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
