    Description

    1893 Quarter, Toned PR67
    Subtle Obverse Contrast

1893 25C PR67 PCGS. This Superb Gem proof might have qualified for a Cameo designation were it not for dusky champagne, russet, and sea-green toning that appears over much of each side. Modest contrast is readily apparent on the obverse despite the patina. This razor-sharp proof type coin displays no bothersome contact marks. Population: 18 in 67, 4 finer; 14 in 67 Cameo, 8 finer; 6 in 67 Deep Cameo, 2 finer (5/18).(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2428, PCGS# 5679)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
